Honestly.. it comes from the time in law enforcement and having kids combined. ;)

Maybe he didn't mean what he said?

And now we have the edit when someone was caught with their nose growing.
-
Look familiar? Can we say busted? I knew we could.
-
Was thinking along the same lines... usually when someone takes a photo of someone standing beside a vehicle like that it's because they (the one standing) is proud of it and WANTS to be in the picture along with as much of the vehicle as possible.

Just some stats Honda Goldwing 103.66 @ 5580 rpm (HP) 109.9 ft.-lb. @ 4160 rpm Yamaha FJR 105.5 kW (141.5 hp) @ 8,000 rpm 134.4 N·m (99.1 lbf·ft) @ 7,000 rpm The GW tends to produce the #'s near the normal cruising speeds in top gear... but with the FJR you ride it differently and want to run it nearer the upper RPM band.
-
Technically Gary, the Goldwing is not suited to pull a trailer either (nor is it rated to pull one). In fact, once you put a little luggage into the bags and trunk and add a passenger, you almost are at the max weight limit of the tires. That's one reason that the GW riders go to the dark side. The rear tire then has LOT more carry capacity. That's also why some of the FJR riders also go to the dark side. I was a dark sider on both the GW and the FJR.

Nope, the FJR won't pull a trailer at all
-
Ahhhh... but when the trailer was purchased I DID have a 2005 Goldwing. That's why I got the trailer. Handled really well on the 1850 mile trip I did coming back from San Rafael, CA to Texas. Quit doing LD riding and spent most of the time on the bike around town and the GW was really a hog and wanted something lighter... and yes, the FJR will pull that trailer fully loaded just fine. Just a few examples of folks that do it For those that use the FJR for LD touring, it's not that uncommon. Of course, something like a N-Line or Uni Track trailer is better. The point is though that I doubt that the Fiat will have a hitch (it's not even rated to tow a trailer at all) and I don't ride the FJR any more so no need to keep the trailer. It's been parked since I've gotten the Fiat. May even end up selling the FJR as I doubt I'll be getting back on it as I get the same fun factor from the car.

And now I'll reply to your edit... It's a MOTORCYCLE trailer Gary. You know, a trailer you pull behind a two (or three) wheeled vehicle. You don't want a 16 ft. trailer to pull behind a motorcycle... kind of hard to stop well or even corner. It allows you to extend your trip or carry camping items that won't fit on a bike normally. Also if you are riding with your spouse, it gives her somewhere to put all the trinkets she tends to pick up on a trip. I think the price when I purchased it was around $3200 OTD. It's a really nice 14 cubic foot hand laid fiberglass build. Only weighs around 150 pounds empty and can hold up to 300 pounds of cargo. I guess you think this would be a normal thing to do with a motorcycle?
-
Well, it would be rather stupid to keep it forever in the shed and it not get used. Had a friend of the family that was looking for a trailer to pull behind his Goldwing and figured I'd let him have a good deal on this one. I can use the spare room in the shed more than I can use the trailer. About to have a Kubota lawn tractor coming onto the property so need somewhere to store it.
-
To bad Gary... paid cash for that also and still had almost $1300 to put back into the savings account. Ended up selling my Turtle Hull trailer that's been parked in the shed for the last 2 years and never getting used. Made for some nice extra room in the shed now. Was going to keep it, but I doubt anyone is going to make a hitch for the Spider and I really don't want to pull the welder out to make one myself. To hot right now and I have better things to do with my time. The trailer is identical to the one behind this car... would have fit perfect for the Fiat but we will use the 4Runner for trips and if want to take the Fiat put it on a car trailer behind us. Gary, this is now what I'm starting to save towards for next year. Martin 00-42SC John Mayer - Natural I really like the look of that guitar. Make a really nice wall decoration, don't you think?

It's generally referred to as a favicon Gary. Unlike the stock phpBB one you use And here it is (the favicon I'm using) full size for you. Oh, and should I mention that I have a Gretsch banjo coming in. Already picking the guitar up pretty quickly - but when you practice for about 2 hours a day (ain't retirement nice) it's easy to do that. And figured since it's prepaid, might as well get some use out of it. Once it expires I'll either pay their $38.88 annual fee or look for somewhere else. I've honestly got no complaints for the overall speed using WordPress on it as it's a low impact site. I could always get a VPS, but then we are back into the same headache as with a dedicated server - you just don't get all the resources with the VPS since you have to share with others. And I don't want those headaches of sysadmin duties now.

Should have just applied a 165gr attitude adjustment tool to her. Solved the problem - other than the cleanup on aisle 1.
-
Odds are those Polacks speak and write better English than Gary does.
-
Well, I have my nice little bar stool in the front room... along with the guitars, the amp and the music stand. Of course, the bar stool also says Martin on it (just got it in). But I do prefer the one with the back I was using.

As I said above Temptation is a little devil that Gary just can't ignore.
-
Oh, it gets responses... so it does serve its purpose.
-
How many mistakes... well, I rally don't have the time to go into detailing them dahling.

Yes, but the content STILL has to meet Gary's strict seal of approval before it shows up - so generally it's content he would agree with.
-
And this is why we screenshot. With the constant edits/wipes that Gary does, his content has no stability.
-
Gary, if we knew that you wouldn't go through one of your rage fest and wipe your site regularly (thereby losing the content, which I've already been subjected to several times) then that might apply. But you DO wipe your site regularly when you have your uncontrolled rage session(s). This way, the comments, and their replies, are kept for a much longer time.
-
It's referred to as documenting for posterity. Especially since Gary tends to wipe his site more frequently than a wino with diarrhea shits.
-
Luckily after over 14 years in law enforcement and dealing regularly with folks that "no speakee de English" (even though they were born here but apparently learned inbred speak instead) I can sorta figure it out - but it DOES make my head hurt to do it.
