Nope... not going to be able to learn how to play the guitar at all. But I DO need to learn how to adjust the amp. And my GAS is satisfied for a while

Really? You fixed it? Looks more like you simply removed the read permissions for guests. I don't classify that as "fixing" something. Fixing something typically means changing the behavior of an action to meet your expectations. You changed nothing with your "masking"... you simply changed a permission set. So you really didn't "fix" anything pertaining to the masking you were doing.

Damn.. you sound like Carp. Unless you have many members, you don't really NEED staff. One person should be sufficient. Only a neophyte would think that you HAVE to have staff for a site that is smaller.

Gary, I'm pretty sure he would have no issue selling that license if he put it out to an admin area that he had it for sale. Just because you can't afford it and pretend to have no interest in it doesn't mean others would not. Of course, as you said, owning it would not be in your best interest since you could get absolutely NO support from the XF site since you apparently have a lifetime ban over there.

Well, I can sorta agree with the stance (not necessarily the circumstances behind it). I would also not do something on principle alone, even if it means that I have to pass up a great deal.
-
Since I currently have hosting set up, it wouldn't be to hard to set up the site under a subdomain that I already had running and check. May do that later.
-
I guess by "steam off his arse" it means he either ran out of paper, had no tree leaves handy or just plain forgot to wipe?

What are you [looking at, watching, listening to, smelling] right now.

Actually, got my LP in today, my new amp comes in tomorrow and my Fender Strat should be arriving next week.
-
I've worked with all races... and there are good and bad in each. And Gary would have a shit fit if he was actually on xBox live in the older days. In some of the game chats (actual voice chats) you would hear ALL kinds of shit. One of the funniest was one of my friends girlfriend (she was 24 and sounded about 16) would get online to play some COD or BF. The guys would start talking shit about how a girl couldn't play.. until she started killing 'em right and left!
-
Well, the LP arrived safe and sound! This is one I'm definitely keeping if everything else checks clean on it. I was looking at the local pawn shops and found a decent Fender Strat (MiM version) but it had several dings in the finish and they wanted $599 for it. Had to laugh as I have found a nice Fender FSR Strat online for $499 (on sale) brand new with NO dings. And yes, I like the "desert burst" type color schemes. Not into the solid reds/blues/greens/whatever that some are. Needless to say, the Taylor 114ce is about to be listed for sale since I'm not really going to use it and I've got the Strat on order. Hey Gary, want to buy a nice barely used Taylor for around 37% off the normal new price?

A misspelled Lager? Or that may be what Gary asks for his warm milk to be brought in - a larger glass.

No,no,no.... it's all automated. He apparently has his chat to "prune" several times a day and his guest forum for at not much more. That way he doesn't have to worry about rage wipes.. it does it anyway since he's in a constant rage lately.
-
He can somewhat drive a vehicle? Maybe? Possibly? Doubtful though. At the most, he'd probably be classified as a day laborer. Probably similar to the ones we used to have hanging out around the railroad tracks back in the 80's that scattered whenever they saw what they thought was an INS vehicle.

Because He/She isn't required to? He/She doesn't want to? He/She does it to irritate certain persons? All of the above and more?

And of course, we all know that Gary doesn't call people the R word.
-
Sorry.. only use my real name over here. As for the Sandyman account... don't know if others use it or not. I know that I don't have the credentials to use it, and don't want them as I post using my real name as I'm not saying anything here that I wouldn't say to someones face.

Poor Gary... reading comprehension issues again. I didn't ask if you WANTED to share it. I simply stated that you can't share it, even if you wanted to. Just one more reason you don't play well with others. You tend to read into stuff MORE than what is stated.
-
It's a pity you can't share that with the other people on TAZ.

Decided not to get that one.. just something about the wood the more I looked at it kept getting to me. I'm a woodgrain fiend and those two mis-matched setups bugged me. Now I've decided on a 2016 Les Paul Standard T in the desert burst trim. Only issue... wasn't really crazy about the price. Had to raid an account that I keep for "emergency" conditions. Well, this is an emergency - it's a serious GAS attack. Luckily I still had the trailer money (extra) that I had just put into that account.

Actually phpBB does have an prune feature that has been stock for a while. Now, the question is, is the prune feature a true cron submitted job now or is it still one that requires a user to go into that area to trigger the not-a-CRON process. I guess we can ask our non-resident expert Gary to expound on that feature.

No Gary, I'm not "miffed off". I just find it amusing that you couldn't tell the truth to save your soul if it came down to it. You've stated two different things in a small amount of time in reference to it - the second statement coming when you got called out on the veracity of the first statement. Which is it... Did you activate an auto-prune that had a 7 day period (and then change it to 3 day) that STILL deleted a 1 day old post? And if so, did you report that bug to the phpBB developers? or You rage wiped the posts and THEN decided to claim that they got caught in the auto-prune that you had instituted that was 7 days at first and then you changed to 3 days? or You don't remember?
-
Then your statement that it wasn't a rage wipe is invalid, because now you imply that it was manual intervention. And no, nobody will buy "it was housecleaning" as we know your history of rage wipes. Crawfish much?
