I've actually sat through 2 of them. One was a result of a tornado (back in the 80's) and the other was a result of a backhoe (back in the 90's).

Oh, and @SneakyDave, you may want to perform additional janitorial duties. Apparently someone is deeply into the sake containers this morning.

No, you start by learning music theory.... and that does NOT consist of strumming but both chords and "picking" individual notes. If I was going to do that (the lazy man's way), I'd simply go learn via tablature. Exactly how many "music" lessons have you taken? And yes, I said MUSIC and not strictly instrument as what path I'm following applies basically to ALL instruments.

Has to get REALLY cold for diesel to gel... and normal "treatment" of the fuel for longevity resolves many of those issues. Also typically a diesel powered system has a "fuel heater" built into it. Propane in Cold Weather The colder it gets, the less effective propane is - just the very nature of the product itself. I know many times when out in the RV once the temps got down to around 20-30° outside the propane lost it's ability to flow (tanks froze) and you had to rely on the electric heaters. It takes a bit longer to happen with 500+ gallon tanks, but they also have similar issues. Generator Fuel, What Generator Fuel is Best

But chords and strumming are not where it's at. Notes and finger picking are! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1q4-tzMI28 View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1q4-tzMI28

Couple of things here... #1 - in Texas (at least) you can use deadly force to protect a 3rd party, so personal threat is not required. There is also no requirement to "run away". #2 - you don't see what the flamethrower idiot was doing prior to the discharge of the firearm so you can't say as a fact that he was not threatening a 3rd party, you are just ASSuming that as fact. #3 - As I stated, if someone threatened ME with a flamethrower, they'd get some smaller objects thrown back at them and it would be justified - nowhere did I comment in that aspect on the video (again, I know following the written word presents difficulties for you compared to pictures) and whether he was justified or not. His political beliefs does not mean that he does not have to follow the same requirements as others - including the one that may allow protection of 3rd parties. Just because you don't agree with his political outlook does not mean that the law (and it's exemptions) does not apply to him. I realize you would most likely prefer different sets of laws for different "classes"... And we bring you to the most vital point of all #4 - could you not have posted this reply in the same thread that the discussion was occurring in? For your ease of referral since you apparently have such difficulty I hyperlinked to it.

LPG generators have their own issues... if you are talking about TRUE natural gas instead of LPG then they are at the mercy of the utility infrastructure. If there is a major break in the line, you will lose your fuel supply. Diesel is one of the best for long term generator use. More bang for the buck in how long your fuel will last and the efficiency of the use of it. LPG struggles in cold weather due to the very nature of the fuel. The added benefit of diesel is it can also be used to run other equipment that may be needed in time of disaster.

The curios wants to know how much electricity he normally uses to make this this a more reliable estimate on how much fuel he needs. There is a LOT of difference in consumption between it lasting days and/or weeks. "Days" normally indicates a period LESS than a week. Also hopefully he's smart enough to realize that how much electricity he has, and how much of charge his phones have do not mean diddly if the cellular infrastructure is damaged (which would be typical in a major disaster like a hurricane/tornado/earthquake). All it takes is a few towers being taken offline, or a major trunk taken out and it's pretty much shot.

Cost to benefit ratio not there? What would we gain by going back to the moon? Originally what we gained was a lot of technology to get us there. I'd rather see a trip to Mars or one of the nearer planets than back to the moon - there would be benefits (gains) technologically there that would carry over to use here. Should be fairly easy to do... just figure out how quickly those other flat planets in our solar system circles the center of the solar system (Planet Earth) and then shoot a straight line out to it in the VW bug.

Saw another one there also.. seemed to be using a can and had the contents that were being expelled ignited in a home made flame thrower. Where's the outrage for him threatening people with a weapon of mass destruction? :scream: I know this much... if I'm armed and someone comes at me with something like that they will be told once to back off... next thing they'll observe is the impact of the rounds hitting their actual body and not the ground.

What are you [looking at, watching, listening to, smelling] right now.

You mean like this 84.202.34.121 - - [08/Sep/2017:07:30:22 -0500] "GET / HTTP/2.0" 200 14467 "https://theadminzone.com/threads/fewer-custom-avatars-on-xenforo-com.145596/page-3" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.79 Safari/537.36"

Nope, not DB connections... it won't show that detail. You'd have to have an add-on that would create a log in the script itself, and I can see that generating a LOT of overhead and DB size increase. This is an example of the nginx log when you access a topic XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [08/Sep/2017:07:35:25 -0500] "GET /?app=core&module=system&controller=ajax&do=instantNotifications&csrfKey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx¬ifications=0&messages=0 HTTP/2.0" 200 72 "https://thepipestand.com/" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.113 Safari/537.36" Some info replaced with X's.

No, and not really unless you do some custom coding.

Where the video shows "she finally loses control of the car" it was because an officer pulled a PIT maneuver on the unit. That's also what happens when you try to be "nice" and put cuffs on so that they are comfortable, especially on a female with small hands. I usually carried a set of thumb cuffs in addition to the regular handcuffs. Made it kind of hard for someone with small hands/wrists to slip out o the standard cuffs.

Old news.... you need to read a little more here... I realize that video is more to your level since it involves pictures (moving) instead of those hard to read (and comprehend) things called words.

Actually I have questions on the validity of that add-on. I changed my password and then got an email alert from it.. derp, yeah, like I know that email address has been linked to hacked forums in the past, why do you think I keep changing the password.... derp.

What's bad is when I'm in the top... with a whole 17 posts!

You would think with them being the "premier" admin site, they'd at least have IPv6 enabled for it. Hell, even my "rinky dink" site is IPv6 capable.

What's in a name? It's a label applied by others to something to fit within a predefined box that they have created.

It really depends on your POV. Anyone to the right of you would be considered a wingnut by your definition.... which consists of probably 97% of the world being wingnuts in that case.

Thought we were still ignoring an individual mentioned above. I don't know if that site is back up or not as I haven't visited it since we agreed to ignore him/it. Much handier to consider him persona non grata.

What I was guessing was an OS update and mySQL had restarted after being updated. You get similar errors on other scripts when the HTTP service is running but mySQL is not responding.
