1. bump. Gary closed his board down for day a week or so ago, I think it was in late April. Of course, he was just joking, so I'm not sure if that was a "legitmate" closure.
2. ahh.. thinking about Warren Zevon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHDdqubE7zQ View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHDdqubE7zQ
3. Best concerts that I saw that I didn't expect much from: Lyle Lovett and his "Large" Band - Was never into Lyle Lovett, but won some free tickets to his concert. This was the period of time he was married to July Roberts (ugh), but I became a big fan after that. REO/Styx/Journey - These guys seem to tour every summer, and I went to their show with a few freinds. I've always been a Journey and REO fan, but I figured it couldn't be much of a performance 20-30 years after they were popular, but I'd actually like to see that arrangement again, even with the little . Pretty decent show. Warren Zevon - This was another free concert I got tickets to (mid 90's), at a dive concert hall in town. Zevon didn't even have a band, he just had a piano, and played all of his songs on it and sang. He said his band was pissed off at him at the time, so, in typical Zevon fashion, you weren't sure if his band was supposed to be there, or if he was messing with people.
4. Will you be the only Ranger fan there? :innocent:
5. WTF? How could he not have reached him? I'm not sure Little Marco could have really had an impact on Lyin' Ted's run, but it would have certainly been better than "Look at that face" Carly Fiorina.
6. Thanks @Sheldon, but I'm not accepting any donations at the moment. I was asking about the Modest dark style back in February. I'll have to see if it's ready yet: Modest Dark?
7. I know. I've been trying to make a switch myself. Can't believe it has to take this long. Maybe they need 6 more developers working on it? :D
8. Don't blame me, blame Sheldon, they're his styles! Don't try that "relative time feature" on that addon though, unless you want your FireFox to crash, lol Not sure they fixed that yet.

10. Nah @fixer you posted a vid on TAZ to my favorite western, so you're ok :p
11. This one from Sock Puppet (GTB) made me lol:

14. I dog think I could see myself smoothering my dogs. Hate to think of how she did it.
15. Here we go again, GTB using an account to try to disparage me. Wonder what Brandon Sheley was talking about? I'll ask him to clarify. Is he still on admin-talk? Twitter. https://twitter.com/username/status/729674368217812992 View: https://twitter.com/SneakyDave/status/729674368217812992 When GTB rages, he starts using the imaginary conversations of a person with a better reputation than him to try to disparage them. It's a unique behavioral pattern of Gary's.
16. I can't believe I'd defend her, but maybe it's just a cultural thing. I know farmers and hunters that thing they have to take their dog out and shoot them to put them out of their misery, but I can't imagine smoothering a dog would be akin to that.
17. I'm gonna scan some ticket stubs later todsy
18. Probably just another GTB 'joke'
19. I'm done watching this. I had a feeling that there'd be done emphasis on Strand's relationship status. It just seems kind of forced

21. This is the only mockup we've seen, and I'm not even sure what it's showing:
22. yeah, it is terrible, looks like a poor screen grab attempt. Who knows if he had the authority to even create the account. Lisa created this one (dead): https://twitter.com/TAZForums Here's another dead one: https://twitter.com/AdmnZone And it's accompanying facebook page (dead): Facebook Here's Daroldi Taz's Facebook page (might as well be dead). I think this is still the current one. Log into Facebook | Facebook There was another guy (can't remember his name) that I think was running the TAZForums or AdmnZone twitter account. Same guy on TAZ complaining about money, and how to make it fast, or some such. Trying to remember his name.
23. If you can search TAZ for BirdofPrey's posts on Skooppa, they are hilarious. Here is another thread describing "the dream". Grandiose Delusions
24. Skooppa - The Social Knowledge and Opinion Platform Continued from this post: Most annoying TAZ members? | BASH.zone Scott M. from TAZ started this Skooppa project as a hosted forum solution completely new platform for online communities that was going to MAKE DEVELOPERS RICH, according to Digital Doctor. In the beginning, there were a number of people involved with the project, from a veteran coder, a network guy, and a security specialist, if I remember correctly, and of course, a dog. There were a lot of buzzwords used by Scott as to the synergies that were going to make Skooppa successful. It was going to be a hosted solution, but developers were going to be able to plug into the system for addons that were going to blow everybody's mind. And did I mention that these developers were going to get RICH? One of the only things I remember about this project is that Scott said it was going to use MongoDB at the time (because MongoDB was the hot thing), but now I think he moved on to some other hot technology as a backend to the Skooppa hosted forum solution, which just isn't a forum solution, it's more. Currently, it doesn't appear the Skooppa forums have much activity, maybe development is well under way? At one point, Scott mentioned that Skoppaa may go the crowdfunding route to "seed fund" project, but that doesn't appear to have come to fruition. One of the more recent posts on Skooppa indicate that Scott is now the only member of the team, but I haven't seen any announcements of any team members' departures. I would think Scott would have made an announcement about anybody joining or leaving the project, due to his desire to be completely transparent with information, road maps, and what not.
25. Yes, I was going to mention him, Daroldi. Has he been around lately? I think he started one of the many TAZ Facebook Accounts and twitter accounts, and the first order of business with him was to ban me from both, lol I'm assuming LeadCrow is a man, just as I assume Howie is a homo sapien. Here is one of those twitter accounts. The others might have been shut down. THE ADMlN ZONE (@taz_forum) | Twitter
