I was looking through threads on TAZ last night and this morning, and after going through almost all of Gary's posts in threads, it is funny how what he says is ignored > 90% of the time.

 

Sort like that happens on the XenForo2 site. He'll jump in the middle of a thread, post some stupid shit, and > 90% of the time no one responds or even acknowledges what Gary had to say.

 

Has to be a horrible feeling, spend 30 mins making a post, another 30 mins editing it, and then to watch your message just get ignored the majority of the time...ouch.

Do you really think Howard lets you post on TAZ because you contribute valuable information or are engaging in your discussions? I assume Gary demanded that Howard remove my sig, and he must have said no, so Gary flounced, but in the meantime I removed it anyway. Now he's got some conspiracy theory about me being part of TAZ becoming the new vBulletin.org, despite my most recent post, on TAZ, stating my belief that that won't work, and Howard effectively agreeing with me. Apart from that, Gary's got it spot ion!

It's no different at all. These days most forums only "soft delete" threads and posts, which is "making them so nobody so can see them". Ummm....same thing Gary, whatever sematics you want to use.
