Actually he's one of the ones that really got me interested in astronomy. I've probably got around $8K of astronomy related equipment here at the house, and that's only in 2 telescopes. A 103mm Williams Optics and then an 8" Celstron NexStar. I REALLY need to learn how to use the camera, the filter wheel and the software with my Surface Book that I use to interface with it. It seems that every time I want to go out when the conditions are right something crops up that interferes with it (usually clinic related where I do free IT work). Although that "free" work did recently score me an iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB cell phone. Quote

Paul Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 @Sheldon people who have actually made great contributions to the world aren’t as full of themselves as you are. Without “Emperor” next to your name, no one will remember you a thousand years from now. Quote

Paul Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Again, you focus on being insignificant. I'm gonna rock this shit out. (And not be a bitch.) You are significant to your friends and family... and possibly a few other people that you know, that's it. The Earth is 4.54 billion years old. Humans have only been around for 300,000 years. We don't mean shit to the Earth's and our universe's existence. Quote
