Does the XF team have any creative or innovative ideas or is the business model to just copy IPB and Discourse features, and deliver them 2 years later? It'd be nice to be able to one click install addons, but that's a whole different software structure that XenForo probably doesn't want to handle yet. They'd probably have to implement a review process similar to what IPB has. SneakyDave Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I don't have any idea of what's coming next for 2.2, but with the new thread content types, doesn't that mean that the XFRM and XFMG can just be thread content types? Why have separate addons for those? Maybe they'll replace XFRM and XFMG with thread types, and make those products part of core, and just increase the price of the complete package. That would fix the problem of the licensing issues with XFRM and XFMG.
