That's the police world tour I saw about 10 years ago. Great show. Probably in my top 5 concerts

Damn, you’re lucky. I would have loved to seen that in person.

It was a great show. And I thought for sure it was going to be sold out, but for whatever reason, the arena was only about 2/3 full. Tickets were crazy expensive, but because they hadn't toured in 25 years or so, I thought it would have been sold out.

This is basically the same concert I saw on 5/14/2008

This is a good clip of a live performance in 1978 demonstrating some of the punk energy they had before they got famous

I'll have to watch the whole concert now.

I agree. Heard my one of my daughters listening to that a few months ago. They thought it was a new song!

The lyrics aren't very profound but it's one of the very few songs that can get me close to crying when I listen to it.

This gets me emotional too but in a different way than the Alice In Chains song. It's amazing that so many people with completely different lives can come together and do something like this. I bet most of the people in that audience weren't even alive when the song was released.

I wish it was but it doesn't appear so

We got back from the concert this morning. It was awesome. Mick, Keith and Ronnie have a hell of a lot more energy and stamina than I do. I was surprised that they performed this song and was glad that they did. It's just a random video I found on YouTube, it's not mine.

CLT airport in Charlotte, NC (where we got our connecting flights) is an f-ing dump, avoid it if you can.

That's my favorite stones song. Damn, I would have liked to have heard that live. I've probably posted it multiple times in this thread, lol

Not sure how I stumbled upon this guy, I think I was reading a story about the Chelsea Hotel in New York, and this guy was mentioned as having a pyramid room at the top of the hotel.

I've never heard of him, but had a couple of early 70's hits. Sounds like a David Bowie clone.

Dee Dee Ramone, of The Ramones, released a rap album, that was terrible. He called himself Dee Dee King.

Yes and he sounds a little bit like someone else who I can't think of right now. Even glam rock was better than most of the crap out right now.

LOL, this is how you cross genres.

It gets worse, here's Chicago's attempt at some kind of urban rap track
