Defacto ways of having a successful site, nope. If that was the case, you'd see hundreds of new sites popping up daily. Simple as that. Find an Admin site on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram practices, and what increases your followers to have better monetization, that's the ticket. Yes you are correct, Facebook and Twitter ARE what has killed forums, but a big part of that is over zealous moderation of the type seen on TAZ. People got fed up being told what they could and couldn't say, and being bombarded with adverts, spam threads and other monetisation, and Facebook offers an antidote to that, even their adverts are less intrusive than many forums. If it were just the thread alone I'd agree but that plus the initial refusal to remove it backed up by rude anonymous comments when deleting my post. The only way such sites will learn is when people leave over it and make it clear to the owners why they've left. That said, they don't want vBulletin users like me on the site anyhow so I don't think they've view it as any great loss. He's an ass, yet you've just fed into his "power". The site will never learn if/when/why people are leaving, as again, they do not give a shit. About you, about Joe Blow User 6, about anyone but themselves. You don't like the place, fuck it, up and leave. They'd question that more than your request for banning, which they in turn will turn it around and call you an attention whore crybaby. You know they will.
