Sheldon Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I live it daily, with the loss of those I served with. I don't need one single date for any reminder. 1 Quote

fool Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Now that Usama ibn Mohammed ibn Awad ibn Ladin is dead for years since 9/11, how many people have been prosecuted and hanged a la what was done to the Nazis at Nuremberg for the illegal invasion of Iraq? Oh yeah, none, nada, zero, zilch. Quote
fool Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 It's funny how different Americans and Japanese celebrate their tragic history. For every years of Hiroshima and Nagasaki remembrance, the Japanese spirit is always of peace and reconciliation, not war. But to the wingnuts, the lunatic gun nuts, the white supremacists, the nazis and every single piece of shit in the basket of deplorables, their theme for 9/11 is always about vengeance, jingoism, patriotism, nationalism and more wars. And thus Trump, their lunatic leader who also happens to have small penis dropped even more bombs than Obama. Not once was a moment of self-reflection ever conducted. Quote

13511 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 (edited) For every years of Hiroshima and Nagasaki remembrance, the Japanese spirit is always of peace and reconciliation, not war. Generally happens that way when one's ass got wiped. History is written by the victor, and historically always has been. Or are you trying to say that the Japanese spirit has always been one of peace and reconciliation. Pretty sure for most of it's history it was a little more war loving. Not once was a moment of self-reflection ever conducted. Really don't care for the government to be concerned with self-reflection when it comes to defense of the nation. Think you will find that Japan is similar also.... or are you saying that Japan is perfectly fine with what NK is doing currently and sending rainbows and lollipops to them? And a for your Iraq vid's... hell boy, if there is a declared war on, the activity to prosecute it that is going on in Iraq is MUCH less than what it was in WW2. As the saying goes - war is hell. Personally I say pull out and let them carry themselves to hell in a hand basket. If they can't take care of themselves then tough. But, if those countries then allow action (even terroristic ones) to occur against the US, simply declare official war on the country and prosecute it to the fullest. Just a little sample below of Dresden. http://de.evangelischer-widerstand.de/pictures/documents/D5305/D5305-1.jpg http://www.greanvillepost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/ger-Dresden-Firebombed-Family.jpg Oh, and let's not forget to document those peace loving Japanese that get a woodie from bladed instrument use apparently. This is the problem with crazy people like you, you live in your own lunatic fantasy. Iraq did not attacked murrika. What self defense are you lunatics talking about? And a for your Iraq vid's... hell boy, if there is a declared war on, the activity to prosecute it that is going on in Iraq is MUCH less than what it was in WW2. As the saying goes - war is hell. Which country declared war on which country? Personally I say pull out and let them carry themselves to hell in a hand basket. If they can't take care of themselves then tough. After it was illegally invaded? Who will take the responsibilities for the dead Iraqi population? Typical right wing mentality, complete scum of the earth, the filthiest of the filth. But, if those countries then allow action (even terroristic ones) to occur against the US, simply declare official war on the country and prosecute it to the fullest. There were neither Al Qaeda nor WMD in Iraq when murrika illegally invaded. All WMD was destroyed via UN program prior to the illegal invasion and Al Qaeda only came in during the power vacuum after the illegal invasion. Quote
