Again, show me where I said such.

You can't. Simply typing it doesn't mean I stated as much.

It's referred to an an implication

You specifically stated

$52mil a day isn't enough budget? Laughable.

with the implication that they should have those funds to be able to be used... but without a clarification of how much of those said funds are already devoted elsewhere your argument that they should be able to do it based upon that figure is specious.

And I've already replied to your polls. Unless EVERY single person had been asked, those polls are worthless. We've already seen that time and again.

Polls are what polls are.

Space is interesting... the worst thing that the federal government did was when they started cutting the NASA budget... but NASA was also at fault for some of it. There needs to be a few areas of pursuit that are concentrated on, but NASA was like a smooth bore shotgun being fired with pellets (ideas/programs) just flying everywhere and not concentrated towards an end goal.

I’ve always have been fascinated with the technology that goes into the support systems for space travel.

Garald (one of my old IT bosses) used to talk about the "modern" tech that they had, like the wax drums for recording audio in addition to their tape, the old punch cards, etc.

He was based in Houston control back for the first 3 Apollo missions.

Did we really go to the moon? I always thought we did and remember watching the landing as a child. I am questioning myself whether what i seen was real or not.

I am not sure if a human could survive passing through the Van Allen belt so I wonder if we really did go to the moon.

Right now they are saying it's impossible for us to pass through it.... but we did back in the day, "supposedly".

So did they just send Apollo missions to go drive around in space while they shot the moon landing in a studio?

Sheldon, if or when we do go back to the moon, will that change anything out your theories on the flat Earth, or will you think that will be just a big Photoshop job too?

Deal with it....

God this is the most laughable "explanation" I've ever seen. How the hell does this work when you consider that there are other planets? Do they have their own sun too? Or do you not believe that other planets exist?

Oh, and how do solar eclipses work with that model?

Posted

Better yet is the explanation that the flat earthers give for having the stars rotating one direction at the north pole and the opposite at the south pole.

And everyone knows that all celestial objects circle the earth as it's the center of everything.

Sue, they can exist. They are there. Just further out than the sun is in most cases. It's not a hard concept to understand. I understand it's not what everyone had been taught and taught and taught. I get that. It's hard to approach this with an open mind, because of how "laughable" you've been taught it is. No worries.

What? You've confused me.

With the earth flat, yes. It would be. And the North Pole is the center, of the center.

All this money spent on NASA and studies, and a guy living in a mobile home solves the mystery. Stuff that in your pipe and smoke it. :p

I'm not certain what living in a mobile home has to do with anything?

I'll say, regardless of where or how he lives, he gives the most valid explanation yet. From all the other heliocentric models I've seen posted online, they are all bullshit.

I guess I should have spelt it out. That is the point I was trying to make.

:scream:

Stars circle one way at the north pole in a time exposure, they circle the opposite at the south pole. They also have 2 different stars in the "center" of their aspect. In a flat earth environment since you are on a flat plane they should rotate the same way at both poles since the "south pole" is only the edge of the perimeter.
