Howie was spotted on XF.com checking for updates to the personal conversation mod he uses to read all conversations on TAZ. What a sad lonely man he is.

 

If you are a member there, do all you can to protect your private information before he uses it to his advantage against you.

Then why would you even use the PC system then? Just disable it for your account.

 

But this is not the point, Howie should disclose to all his users that he and (possibly) his staff read your "personal" conversations and anything said in them is not secure, because Howie is insecure.

I don't use it over there unless responding to something people ask me.. but my point was that I don't ever say anything that I really give a shit if someone else reads. ;)

True, but in the end, privacy should still be respected. If you as an admin/owner are that paranoid what people are saying on your site that you have to read their "personal" conversations that you were not privy to read, you really need to give up running the site, and possibly leave the internet for good, as it is most likely not a healthy environment for you.

Possibly she and the other staff don't know Howie is monitoring personal conversations. They might just be in the same boat as all of Howie's users, not allowed any privacy nor security on TAZ.

Lisa admitted back on one of her xenforo sites (maybe xenadmins?) that Howie read private messages all the time when TheAdminZone was on vBulletin. It sounded like common knowledge Ong the old staff members.

 

This was during one of their breakups though, so there's that.

I happen to like the Muppets.... and what is it about the "I don't give a shit what others think" that you don't understand? I thought that would be simple enough even someone of the equivalent capability of Carlos could understand that.
