Sheldon Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Last night saw on news Trump is at 60%, with Kasich at 17% and Cruz sitting at 15%. If that holds true, he'll take all 95 delegates. Also.... puts Cruz really close to not being able mathematically to reach 1237. I wonder if he'll do what he continues to suggest to Kasich..... "you have no path to nomination, you should drop out". SneakyDave Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Whatever happened to the Cruz sex scandal? How can a candidate scandal like that just disappear? SneakyDave Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Just read this, Slate wants to know what happened to that scandal too. What Happened to the National Enquirer’s Ted Cruz Story? Sheldon Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 I think there's more to it. I'd like to see the numbers from that DC Madam start getting posted too. I seriously just don't trust Cruz. He's slimy. Quote
fool Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I seriously don't understand why anyone would vote for him. You have got to be dumb as fuck to even consider it. But I guess I expected too much of the Republican populace. In fact, the fundamentalist guy from gtb.com is actually voting for him. Quote
fool Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Sanders chance to win NY seems slimmer now that a lot of unregistered Democrats aren't allowed to vote. Quote
Sheldon Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 Sanders chance to win NY seems slimmer now that a lot of unregistered Democrats aren't allowed to vote. That's what has saved him in many of the previous states. I watched a bit of the Democratic debate last night, he seemed like he really got under Hillary's skin. She was not amused at many of his comments. Quote
fool Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I always thought you and Solid Snake are Republicans, same as Mr. V. Quote

fool Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 There is a serious misunderstanding among the populace regarding the idea of "earning something". It's basically the mythology that you earn for what you work for. Yet, upon deconstructing the notion of "working", you'll quickly realize that it is a logical fallacy. If we focus on the "thing (object)" that we (subject) worked upon, then there arise three fundamental questions: 1. What was the origin of the object before being worked upon? 2. Who or what have the ownership of the object prior to being worked upon? 3. Why a transfer of ownership happens when the object is being worked upon? Quote
SneakyDave Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I don't think there's a misunderstanding at all! ;) lol. If you need to go through 3 bullet points to understand what "earning something" means, then I don't want to know what the definition is. fool Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Such is the duty of a philosopher. Our eyes are set on the fundamental truths, not the common everyday wisdom. Quote
SneakyDave Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Sanders (a Jew) has done the UNTHINKABLE and claims that Palestinians are people too. He can't think that this will help him win NY, or will it? Or does he think that by being a Jew, that's enough to keep the NY Jews on his side? Sheldon Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Word now is that those in Clinton camp aren't so certain about the NY polls that have been shown. They feel they are on shaky ground. I'm calling 51%-48% Bern. Feel it! Quote
Sheldon Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Yeah, saw one just a bit ago myself.... think she was at 58%. Quote
fool Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 His comment about Israel-Palestine may have hurt his chance. Quote

Sheldon Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Seems like he'd have to consider conceding if those results hold. He is a stretch now, but a big loss would cripple any chance. Quote
fool Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 He should run as independent. A lot of disenfranchise votes out there. Just look at the amount of people at his rallies. Quote
Sheldon Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 I think there should be 4 political parties as it stands. Not sure how to branch off from current two, but I think 4 running would be better. Quote
