Under those circumstances not only should civil charges been brought, but criminal charges against the jailers and their supervisors. Wonder why we haven't heard of a civil rights violation (not because of his race either) investigation from it?

Lol, it's like asking why the popo always gets away with murders.

Or asking why thugs burn down their own city to "protest" the "unjustice" of a cop shooting a thug that just robbed a gas station and tried to take a cop's gun.

Got news for you.. EVERY killing is a homicide... some are ruled justified, some are not.

So, there's another of your precious bubbles bursted.

Pity can't go back to the days when a homeowner/business owner caught the tick-turds doing it that it was perfectly fine for justified homicides to stop it.

Guess what... don't want to go to jail, do what you are supposed to. Don't want to get "whomped"... when being arrested cooperate or be willing to suffer the fact that you are resisting and that brings on force being used against you - which is frequently painful.

The apparent K-9 officer threw some blows yes - but where did they land? There ARE areas that you can apply impact to that are nerve centers that will help a "locked" arm to bend. Maybe you need to go talk to a few sensei over there in Japan about that.

I personally would not have released the K-9 while having 2 officers there and a third apparently in the background.

Spoken like a true fascist. The popo doesn't get to decide whether you go to jail or not, they only have the right to detain under limited amount of time.

Not only that, resisting arrest is not the same as fighting back. Notice that the man was resisting slightly when he turned back but he made no attempt to fight the popo. Notice also when the popo slammed him to the car (which I think still justified though a bit excessive) he wasn't resisting or fighting back (as clearly shown by his hand) any longer.

But of course, the popo being the popo, slammed him to the road, punched him repeatedly and unleashed the dog on him.

Of course the popo wouldn't do this to any rich people less they get their ass handed in criminal court.

Speaking of Japan, the super majority of police officers there don't do the kind of shits seen here. That's why they're highly respected by the community. But then again, you don't have right wing loons running around with assault rifle there.

Guess what.. that short video does NOT show why they were there. Apparently that individual (based upon the fact that others were in safety vests and he was not) was an unwelcome "visitor" and someone called in on him and he failed to vacate the property.

Spoken as someone who has never had to wrestle someone that was "simply" resisting. One of our instructors did a good job demonstrating to us just on what you attempt to speak about. Took 3 officers 10 minutes of "wrestling" to simply subdue him and he never swung a fist or anything.

That is where the pain compliance techniques come in.

Also he was ordered several times to get his hands back and he refused to comply. Guess what, at that point you don't really have a choice. The street isn't where you "argue" that point - the courts are.

Never have I seen a video that gives the "full" details. Was he reported to be armed with a weapon? Neither you nor I know.

Did the officer(s) feel what they believed to be a weapon during the takedown? Again, neither you nor I know.

Really? Guess what - It happens to rich folks also.

You have a totally different societal outlook in Japan than in the US. It goes all the way back to the feudal system and the King being God.

Are the popo now checking tax returns of suspects, to know when to rough somebody up or not? Lol

That sounds like you're perpetuating a stereotype, if you equate a suspect's wealth with anything other than a paystub or tax return

you MUST be mistaken. It's only those right wing wacko's that use stereotypes. None of those nutless wonder anarchists/leftist do.

What are you? A wing nut loon?

There are infinite ways to determine the difference between the rich and the poor.

Michael A. Wood, Jr. is a former Marine and Baltimore cop.

The gist is that by policing poor neighborhoods the popo avoid confrontation with the rich and fill in their arrest quota.

I mean, come on Ralph! Really?

We're talking about police brutality here, not some conspiracy reptilian theory.

You have to be a right wing nut job to believe the popo is all fine and dandy.

These are the same popo that shares their headquarters with wall street (Occupy Wall Street) and receive funds from corporations to steal the lands of the native (DAPL).

Actually I was allowed to arrest as few or as many as I needed to. No "quota" required. If it was a legitimate arrest then it was made.

I guess you are one of those that believe that law enforcement employees are all perfect and never are supposed to make mistakes or have the fallibilities of any human.
