It's those troll users of his! Then he begs TAZ members for help. The same group that has banned him 4 or 5 times. I am simply here with a thread asking for help, and expertise on how to deal with this issue. Long story short, there were two things happening at the same time: Users register to my site with a Yahoo, Hotmail, Live, Outlook account and use them to either legitimately register to my site, some of them spam the forums with the e-mail addresses. A few years ago, I've tested a few mass-email sends. I've never gotten complaints other than a few users giving me grief over these mass-emails. Just an isolated few. That didn't stop them from pressing "spam" when it really isn't. *rolleyes* I only used this sparingly, never every day. Never frequently. Only for important announcements. But each time I do, the e-mails get bounced. Most of the time they're dropped and returned to sender. I went ahead and banned wildcards for Yahoo, Hotmail, Live, Outlook to prevent any more registrations under these email addresses. I tried getting a new IP address in addition to my main IP address to solve the problem, but gmail rejects the new IP address, too. I am now walking around with a headache. I love my users, but some of these users are bad apples that are trolls. Keep in mind, this started back in 2015 into a few months before GDPR even was in my purview. It only got worse after GDPR went live. Please help, TAZ. [Note: Yahoo is a Verizon site under oath. Hotmail/Live/Outlook are all owned by Microsoft.] What is your solution to e-mail services dropping your send e-mails?
