I'm on the fence. I'll need to hear a bit more from Pence before deciding. Obviously, I'll still be supporting Trump, but not sure if Gingrich wasn't a better match.

Gingrich would have been a horrible choice. You're probably too young to remember how many people hated him.

I thought you were in your mid thirties. Anyway, Gingrich would have lost votes from Democrats who can't bring themselves to vote for Hillary, they hate him more.

I think Newt would have been better, for Trump anyway. He has softened his tone on the last 10 years or so.

 

Pence is a religious kook. Don't see how he adds value to Trump's campaign.

 

By the way, took a picture of this yesterday on a boat tour in Chicago. Didn't realize Trump had his fingers in Obamaland too.

I'm not sold on Pence by any stretch. I thought early Rubio would help..... then add everything progressed, Newt.

 

Still think Trump/Gingrich is better.

Anybody watch the opening Republic Convention? I didn't really watch much of it, just a few of the highlights. Trump's wife spoke, and supposedly lifted a paragraph or 2 from Michelle Obama's convention speech, which seems a little weird.
