SneakyDave Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 For some reason, Google released a set of the top questions it received from each state in 2015. First, obviously, these can't be literal questions. The study had to have collected and categorized these because not everybody asks questions in the same way. Unless I'm missing how they used Google "trends" to capture this information. Secondly, can this even be real? The study claims that they went back 12 years of search data, but the most used search queries seem to be pretty recent. But whatever, I get it. Sounds more like a blog that wants to get visits to the article rather than actually providing any comprehensive research. You Won’t Believe The Questions Each State Googles More Than Any Other State Some of my favorites: IOWA: Where is ISIS? / Who is Bernie Sanders? / What is a caucus? / What is a socialist? / What is socialism? / What is Snapchat? / Is Lady Gaga married? / Is Ted Cruz hispanic? / Do penguins have knees? KANSAS: What is Syria? / How to make meth? LOUISIANA: What is Scientology? / When is hurricane season? / When is Wrestlemania? MARYLAND: Did O.J. do it? / Is Joe Flacco elite? / Who unfollowed me? / Who runs the world? / When is it going to snow? / Why do I owe taxes? Sheldon Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 WEST VIRGINIA: Are zombies real? / Who invented the internet? / Who died? / Who is Donald Trump? / How to lose weight? / What is normal? / What is pansexual? / When is Cinco de Mayo? / Is Facebook down? / How to last longer in bed? / Where is Chuck Norris? / Why is there a leap day? / Why are cats afraid of cucumbers? Wow, I am surrounded by idiots. Quote
