I see no evidence of lifeforms existence on your bicycle forum.

Pretty sure I mentioned that I didn't do content that well.. that I was more into the admin/server admin aspect.

I'm more one that would rather be "doing" thank "talking".

Let's keep this thread about TAZ profitability. Please start another thread if you'd like to discuss the evidence of life on anyone's forum board. Edited by SneakyDave

Forum is talking, not doing.

It's another case of putting the cart before the donkey.

@ROD, just cut some posts here and move it into a new board war thread.

I don't think there's a need for that yet. :innocent:

there was a need

Actually.. you gotta have the first before you can do the talk. No server/site admin setup then no site. But hey, we know that anarchist can only follow one cook-book.

You're hilariously delusional. All the hardware and software are material and tool to create a forum but not the forum itself. A forum is an interaction between more than three people in the form of written posts. Who are you interacting with on your bicycle forum? Clint Eastwood's chair? Or am I asking too much of you just to understand the rudimentary nature of reality?

Incorrect.

No hardware = no forum

No OS = no forum

No setup of script = no forum

You cannot create content without the structure in place to allow input of said content - and the structure requires the above 3 things at a minimum.

What you refer to is the content of said forum.

Lol, is that your saving grace or you're just playing dumb? Let me put this to you in a language that even a mentally deficient person can understand.

You see, three people can find a room and sit on three chairs to discuss stuff and we'll have a forum. The room is not the forum nor are the chairs. You can argue that without them a forum cannot exist but that still doesn't make them forums. Anyone can see your pitiful attempt to change the subject but this case isn't about whether there will be a forum or not without forum software and hardware, rather it's an inquiry whether what you really have right now is indeed a forum.

Burning Board is not a forum, it's a forum software. Supermicro server is not a forum, it's a piece of hardware. When you combine these two and/or everything else to setup a forum, you're creating an environment where a forum can exist but the forum has yet to exist on your bicycle site unless someone from NASA finally detected the existence of more than three lifeforms that interact with one another.

To create the forum you must have the structure. No matter what attempt you try at leftspeak semantics.

And on that note.. time to go do that admin stuff that doesn't do any good and not required by a forum.

I've seen evidence of Tracy doing server admin stuff for Taichi Master Adam, and that would require the patience of Job to accomplish.

The question was 'You have a forum?" And the short, correct, answer is obviously "yes".

Maybe they aren't full fledged 'communities', but they are definitely 'forums'

Do admin stuff for who?

The level of your denial is awe inspiring.

Oh, I help with a LOT of folk - most of these are server/VPS assistance/setups

As stated, I did work for Adam Howard (and he blew the server up "modifying it").

I've helped Xon1 over on XenForo

I've helped Steve & Russ

I've helped the owner (and still do) of consolecrunch.com

I've helped Brian Roberts

I've helped Radiola (at XF) with his server (move and during a DDOS attack)

I've helped Fearz over at XF

I've helped MrSqueezy over at XF

I've helped TDubs over at XF

I've helped YashJeet over at XF

Sheldon (had his sites on my ProxMox server when I had it and maintained the VPS for him on it)

Lisa (Morganna) (had her sites on my ProxMox server when I had it and maintained the VPS for her on it)

I've helped (and still do) Tim (TJA) on his sites (setting up his original VPS then helping with his ProxMox server and configuring it to work the the multiple IP's on an OVH box

And there are many others.. just getting tired of listing them.

In other words... WAY more than you do. :kissing:
