Depends on what you wanted them to do on whether it would take an hour or not. How do you know that was how long it would take?

I do know that they can be rather expensive. Checked into them doing a simple logo for one of my sites. Was quoted $250 for it - did a decent one myself with about 30 minutes work.

All of you goddamn bastards talking about my personal situation with me putting my dog down can suck a slew of fat dicks! He'd lost 30 pounds over the course of 3 days. The vet told me the medication they prescribed for him would make him better. 2 days later he had worms LITERALLY crawling out of his chest. I would NEVER take him back to the vet that failed him. It was my duty to see him out of his misery and I did that duty.

He was diagnosed with stage 4 heartworms! He didn't start showing symptoms until about 6 days before I put him down. It was TRAGIC. So I did for him what I did. Oh Puhlease! I held Blu in my lap and put him out of his misery as I rocked him back and forth, telling him I loved him. In my mind - It's no different than taking him back to the bastards who charged me $200+ for feeding me false hope that he'd be okay. They'd only stick a vial full of poison in him! At the end of the day - it's none of you bastards' business how I chose to put Blu down. He was my responsibility and I stood up and owned that responsibility.

And heart worms don't crawl out of their chest. I had to have a stray we adopted treated for them. We have 5 dogs and spend about $125 a month on their heartworm/flea treatment (it's a combined preventative).

And for what a nice purse would cost you could have had him humanely euthanized. Why didn't you just shove his head into a bucket of water instead? It's readily apparent you know NOTHING about dying from oxygen starvation. The poor animals brain is still active even after it's heart gives out.

Personally, anyone that would kill any animal like that is a sadistic bastard/bitch in my opinion. Would have been more humane to take a gun and place it against the dogs skull and pull the trigger. Messier yes - but more humane than suffocation.

As far as the treatment goes, it's arsenic based.

Heartworms don't crawl out of dogs.. If your going to make shit up at least research it. 2 day cure? the vet most live in the same trailer park as you. Even stage one takes months to cure. I know this as one of my Bulldogs had stage 1.. $800.00 and three months of treatment, she was cured and happy and healthy again.. There is no miracle pill for heartworm, it's like cancer with cemo.. It takes months of treatment to cure.
