  2. I didn't see anything in your post that references the supposed curvature of the earth.

  3. No, it gives you factual information involving gravity, which controls the flow of water downhill. If the mouth of the river is to the north and the head is from a mountain to the south, guess which way it's going to flow (hint, it follows gravity which forces water to flow from the high point to the low point).

  4. Up a huge curve... hahahaha.

    Okay.

  5. Yeah, all intelligent beings know that it should flow up the mountain instead of down.

  6. I don't recall arguing about any mountains, please quit attempting to have me say something I didn't.

I stated it couldn't flow up over the curve of the earth.

  7. If the argument is that a curved earth makes rivers flow around the curve, then you must think that on a flat Earth, there would be no rivers, they wouldn't "flow" at all.

  8. Incorrect.

There is still height above sea level (called level for a reason).

It still has to flow to the lowest spot, which is again, the sea.

  9. So rivers aren't allowed to do that on a curved earth, or are you saying that on a curved earth, all the water would roll "off the ball" so to speak?

  11. I don't give a shit how much water there is in that river, there isn't enough for to move it upwards on 500+ miles.

  12. And the sea can be north of the rivers headwaters.... thank you for proving the point above reference gravity.

  13. Again.

The curvature of the earth. 4000 miles.

You read only what you want.

  14. That's about as silly as the guy pouring water on the lemon. Gravity doesn't cause everything to flow south. Gravity pulls towards the earth, not south.
