I don't recall arguing about any mountains, please quit attempting to have me say something I didn't. I stated it couldn't flow up over the curve of the earth.
If the argument is that a curved earth makes rivers flow around the curve, then you must think that on a flat Earth, there would be no rivers, they wouldn't "flow" at all.
Incorrect. There is still height above sea level (called level for a reason). It still has to flow to the lowest spot, which is again, the sea.
So rivers aren't allowed to do that on a curved earth, or are you saying that on a curved earth, all the water would roll "off the ball" so to speak?
I don't give a shit how much water there is in that river, there isn't enough for to move it upwards on 500+ miles.
