Skooppa - The Social Knowledge and Opinion Platform

Most annoying TAZ members? | BASH.zone
Scott M. from TAZ started this Skooppa project as a hosted forum solution completely new platform for online communities that was going to MAKE DEVELOPERS RICH, according to Digital Doctor.
In the beginning, there were a number of people involved with the project, from a veteran coder, a network guy, and a security specialist, if I remember correctly, and of course, a dog.
There were a lot of buzzwords used by Scott as to the synergies that were going to make Skooppa successful. It was going to be a hosted solution, but developers were going to be able to plug into the system for addons that were going to blow everybody's mind. And did I mention that these developers were going to get RICH?
One of the only things I remember about this project is that Scott said it was going to use MongoDB at the time (because MongoDB was the hot thing), but now I think he moved on to some other hot technology as a backend to the Skooppa hosted forum solution, which just isn't a forum solution, it's more.
Currently, it doesn't appear the Skooppa forums have much activity, maybe development is well under way? At one point, Scott mentioned that Skoppaa may go the crowdfunding route to "seed fund" project, but that doesn't appear to have come to fruition.
One of the more recent posts on Skooppa indicate that Scott is now the only member of the team, but I haven't seen any announcements of any team members' departures. I would think Scott would have made an announcement about anybody joining or leaving the project, due to his desire to be completely transparent with information, road maps, and what not.
