  1. I was going to convert this site to Invision Community - Forum software, CMS, eCommerce & more - Invision Community. There was a problem with the converter. It wouldn't convert the attachments. I put in a ticket with IPB support. After back and forth I was told they don't support Windows Servers. I have been running Windows Servers for 17 years. I switched from Redhat Linux to Windows Server 2003. I never had a problem. Until today. IPB said they don't support it. Want to know the funny part of this? I used to run IPB on those Windows Servers and was successfully able to convert many of my sites as well as clients sites using the IPB official converters. Now all of a sudden they don't support Windows. So IPB you lost my business. This site was going to be the first I converted. I am going back to my clients who wanted to switch and advise them to stay with xenForo. As much as that pains me I can't recommend IPB to anyone.
  2. BASH.zone on IPB Import done.
  3. IPB was vBulletin only serious contender in the forum world, and had a lot of site's using it in the past. Lately, it seems there's been an admin pile on against using it. So what's wrong with it? Price changes? Slow Development? Customer Service issues? Promised features that never materialized? It seemed to be on the cusp of taking over the forum world, and then a couple of years after XenForo's arrival, it looks like things are in disarray with it.
