Considering, for a moment, that you trust and support crowdfunding in general, and let's say there's an addon that you think you desperately need, that a developer will create, but only as a crowdfunded project. As Alfa1 states in this post, the Most Generous and Affable Howie offered to play the middleman in the crowdfunding of XenReviews. If TAZ (I guess, Howie, since it is his hobby) offered itself up as an escrow service for such projects, would you support it?
