More #fakenews - if you can ssh to a server, you can install and update Discourse. I agree though if you are a cPanel or Plesk "systems admin" then yes, Discourse is too difficult to install.

Love it or hate it, Discourse is taking over the world, and with the amount of features they release, and some of the cool new shit they are doing, it isn't a surprise. They've innovated more in the few years they've been around then the XF and IPS teams have combined, and don't even bring WBB into this, all they do is copy IPS and XF features and release them 6 to 9 months later.
