I've never cared that a musical artist I go see live, or buy CD's from, might have or not have the same political beliefs than I, but in the last 5 years, I've seen more political commentaries at live concerts that I really care to see. I've seen Bruce Springsteen twice and John Mellancamp twice. The first times were around 20 years ago, and the second times, for each, were in the last 5 or 6 years. I go to a lot of different types of concerts, but I've never seen an act devote 20 to 30 minutes of political discussion to their concerts like these 2 guys. It was really starting to get on my nerves, especially having paid over $150 for each concert. I don't care about their views, I just want to hear some music. Bruce Springsteen really pissed me off because he didn't play anything from Tunnel of Love, what's up with that grumpass anyway? I might boycott him. :p

I still don't see much value in Hulu, are there more network television shows on that? I don't watch much network television. I think I'd subscribe to HBO Go before Hulu Plus.

GTB Tool was banned because virtually every single post he made here was either attacking me or the forum (or both together at same time). Or he was having a pop at other members trying to get on their nerves also. He was too much, all he ever did none stop! Guest#f2f0 Absolutely. You cant match Tool's wit so you banned him. GTB So you think I ban people because they might be smarter than me. Huh? 8| Guest#f2f0 The real reason you banned Sheldon and Tool is they are both smarter than you Guest#f2f0 What was Sheldon's crime? Why is he banned, again? Guest#ea06 #freeSheldon #freeTool

Ok, so "trustworthiness" is a vague term. What I'm ranking the following individuals and forums on are: 1) Can I trust the admin with my email and IP information 2) Can I trust that moderation on the forum will be fair? 3) Can I trust that the forum will be around more than 2 years? A lot of forums are around, and this obviously isn't a complete list, so I'm just adding ones that the small group of membership will be familiar with. Feel free to add any I forgot. I'll provide my ranks and opinions on 5 of them. 1) XenForo.com. XF forums have a love-hate relationship with a lot of their members. They either love the moderation style, or hate it. I think it's been pretty fair overall, and I certainly believe the administrators would do all they can to protect customer data. They run a tight ship and don't allow drama. I haven't seen too many cases of moderation getting out of hand, without an explanation on what is, and is not, acceptable. 2) admin-hub.com and vulpea.com. "Paul's forums" are pretty new to this list, and I don't have much of an opinion on either of them. admin-hub.com is obviously a "pro" forum as Vice would call it, so I think management there would make sure to take steps to keep member emails and IP addresses corrected. They both use SSL so that obviously helps secure things a little bit better. My only gripe is that I don't know who moderates the site. If it's just Paul, that makes things easier, and more consistent. I don't agree with Paul's choice of one of his moderators, but that's the only knock I have. Full disclosure, I think I'm banned at admin-hub.com. 2) www.admin-talk.com - I don't even know who owns this site anymore, but it appears to be slowly fading away. I can't even comment about moderation, because I haven't seen it lately, but I think it had favorable reviews in the past. The only knock on it is that I don't know anything about the owners, or their plans with the site. 3) theadminzone.com. The Admin Zone has been the target of a couple of hacks lately, but the biggest threats are the inconsistent moderation, and going overboard on staff and administrator positions. The administrator won't allow disparaging comments about forum software companies if support personnel participate on his site. Full disclosure, I'm banned at this forum. 4) vBulletin.com. The official vBulletin site seems to get hacked more often lately, and little to no explanation is usually given as to how the hack happens, or how much customer information, if any, is stolen. Complaints aren't allowed on the forum, and are consistently removed, not moved, without explanations. 5) General-Discussion.com. Gary has a history of just wiping out his forum for little to no reason over a period of years. Lately, he's posted IP address information of one of his members, and has a strange method of banning and unbanning members for no particular reason. Full disclosure, I'm banned at this forum.

So, which of the candidates do you think actually believes the stuff that spews out of their mouths? This may or may not particularly be your favorite candidate, but here is my list, and my reasonings behind my choice. 1) Bernie Sanders. This guy is probably a certified nut job, but I actually think he follows and believes his own preaching. It seems he's always against big business, war, and has always tried to favor the disadvantaged and poor. 2) Donald Trump. I don't think Trump is particularly honest, but I think he can use some of his business acumen to "get the deal done", and I actually think he believes what he says. He doesn't have to answer to anybody, nor take their money, which obviously helps in that respect. 3) Ted Cruz. Ted just seems like a smarmy, Bill Clinton on the right, type to me. I can't believe anything that comes out of his mouth when he panders to practically everybody but the Mexicans. 4) Hillary Clinton. I put HRC and Ted probably about on the same level of honesty, meaning, they'd say anything to get somebody's vote. 5) John Kasich. I put Kasich at the bottom because I think he's got something sneaky, or possibly nefarious, going on with the RNC at the upcoming conventions, especially if a majority of delegate votes aren't assigned to one individual. Just a feeling I have. He's probably just a patsy in whatever the committee has in store, but still, it doesn't sit well with me.

I'm a little torn on my opinion of this. I'd certainly like my kids to be able to choose anything they'd like to pursue their interests, but I don't think I'd want them involved with "reporting" a suspected murder at a crime scene. I've got a daughter that spends an abnormally large amount of time watching videos about surgeries and surgical procedures, and I have to make sure that what she's watching is appropriate for her age, but I try to encourage her curiosity. But homicide reporting? That's a little bit too macabre for me. Even if she's not actually in the house where the murder happened. The homicide story and accompanying video: EXCLUSIVE: MURDER ON NINTH STREET! There was a response from Hilde and the Orange Street News, regarding her reporting on a homicide, but it's currently been removed: Edtied to add a story about what is contained in the response: Yes, I’m a nine-year-old girl. But I’m still a serious reporter | Hilde Kate Lysiak

Back in '08, starting when Obama led the democratic nomination for the presidential election, and up until probably his second term, it seems anybody that had issues with Obama's presidential qualifications was labeled a racist. I haven't seen many complaints about "sexist" Americans who don't support Hilary, so I'm wondering if that branding will come after she wins the nomination, or if everybody is finally over that stigma? May sexism won't get the same attention as calling someone a racist would? In all honesty, I think most men, including myself, will label themselves as various degrees of sexist, but nobody wants to be labeled a racist. Are the feminists required to vote for Hilary, simply because she's a woman? Madeline Albright's comments suggest that women will go to hell for supporting Bernie Sanders, rather than HRC. This was an interesting article I found that seems to suggest that NOT voting for Hilary may actually be allowed if you're a feminist. She'll probably lose her feminist membership privileges soon. http://www.bustle.com/articles/140602-telling-women-they-have-to-vote-for-hillary-clinton-is-not-only-offensive-its-anti-feminist What do you think? Will men (of all races) be able to say that they won't vote for Hilary without being labeled a sexist?

I've never been in the service, so I'm genuinely curious Sheldon if you get those type of questions a lot, regarding patriotism, protecting the flag, etc.? I have this theory that a lot of people think armed forces members, particularly mMarines, are these hulking thugs just waiting to punch out an Arab or commie. I only have one friend like that, and it appears to be the type of Marine found a lot in the media.

Didn't even realize this. Crazy John McAffe, the founder of the crappiest anti-virus software around, is running for president. He originally joined the race as a member of the "Cyber Party", whatever that is. In December, he declared himself a Libertarian.
