  1. Yes, as I wasn't aiming for a kill shot - in fact, hit the arm I was aiming at and disabled him - but not before he got off a shot that placed a .38 round between the victims that he had in an arm bar running lights. Could have easily placed a round in his head - but my intent was to try to get both to survive. He ended up doing 15 years due to a plea bargain and then died from natural causes about a year after getting out.
  2. Yes, he has.
  3. A lot of it has to do with where they are hiring from. Many are coming straight out of the military and were active duty combatants. They tend to bring a lot of that "outlook" into police work with them. It's detrimental to the performance (as far as social interactions go) that their duties entail. Some of it also has to do with the societal outlook that they were raised under.
  4. Sorry... we didn't have "dash cameras" or "body cameras" when I was in the field. And I always had spare bullets... carried 2 boxes of (depending on the year).45 CCI Lawman 230gr HP, .45 Corbon 230gr +P HP, .45 Federal Hydroshok 230gr HP, or .45 CCI Gold Dot 230gr HP. Would take to long to unload that many rounds. Also kept at least 1 box of 9mm, 1 box of .40 S&W and 1 box of .357 and 100 rounds of 5.56mm in the seat case I used (for other officers in case needed). To bad you've never had the balls to strap on the badge... don't think you could handle most of the calls that you have to go on. Now granted, the "new" breed of cop is not what it used to be... to many have a militaristic POV towards society. Now, for your perusal, here are the top 10 cities for police deadly shootings in 2015. 1. Chicago, 70 deaths 2. Phoenix, 57 deaths 3. Philadelphia 54 deaths 4. Houston, 49 deaths 5. Los Angeles, 47 deaths 6. New York, 41 deaths 7. Dallas, 34 deaths 8. San Antonio, 28 deaths 9. San Diego, 17 deaths 10. San Jose, 11 deaths
  5. Yeah, I don't think anyone ever claimed that Trump was anti-war... I don't consider Hillary a war hawk... more a paper sparrow.
  6. I loved those... still find 'em on YouTube and watch them every now and then.
  7. Just for @Scrotnig Chickenscratches could take lessons from him!

Maybe it's for positively dislike? :p
  9. katy is to busy enjoying driving around the roads looking at wild flowers in the new rag top.
  10. I think it means that he/she wants to get up close and personal with your testicles.
  11. I was wondering if you had multiple personalities or something based upon his reply.
  12. BTW, wonder what those two videos have in common... could it be they are about a liberal bastion?
  13. Actually I was allowed to arrest as few or as many as I needed to. No "quota" required. If it was a legitimate arrest then it was made. I guess you are one of those that believe that law enforcement employees are all perfect and never are supposed to make mistakes or have the fallibilities of any human.
  14. you MUST be mistaken. It's only those right wing wacko's that use stereotypes. None of those nutless wonder anarchists/leftist do.
  15. Guess what.. that short video does NOT show why they were there. Apparently that individual (based upon the fact that others were in safety vests and he was not) was an unwelcome "visitor" and someone called in on him and he failed to vacate the property. Spoken as someone who has never had to wrestle someone that was "simply" resisting. One of our instructors did a good job demonstrating to us just on what you attempt to speak about. Took 3 officers 10 minutes of "wrestling" to simply subdue him and he never swung a fist or anything. That is where the pain compliance techniques come in. Also he was ordered several times to get his hands back and he refused to comply. Guess what, at that point you don't really have a choice. The street isn't where you "argue" that point - the courts are. Never have I seen a video that gives the "full" details. Was he reported to be armed with a weapon? Neither you nor I know. Did the officer(s) feel what they believed to be a weapon during the takedown? Again, neither you nor I know. Really? Guess what - It happens to rich folks also. You have a totally different societal outlook in Japan than in the US. It goes all the way back to the feudal system and the King being God.
  16. Guess what... don't want to go to jail, do what you are supposed to. Don't want to get "whomped"... when being arrested cooperate or be willing to suffer the fact that you are resisting and that brings on force being used against you - which is frequently painful. The apparent K-9 officer threw some blows yes - but where did they land? There ARE areas that you can apply impact to that are nerve centers that will help a "locked" arm to bend. Maybe you need to go talk to a few sensei over there in Japan about that. I personally would not have released the K-9 while having 2 officers there and a third apparently in the background.
  17. Got news for you.. EVERY killing is a homicide... some are ruled justified, some are not. So, there's another of your precious bubbles bursted. Pity can't go back to the days when a homeowner/business owner caught the tick-turds doing it that it was perfectly fine for justified homicides to stop it.
  18. Under those circumstances not only should civil charges been brought, but criminal charges against the jailers and their supervisors. Wonder why we haven't heard of a civil rights violation (not because of his race either) investigation from it?
  19. The only change that would have made it funnier if the plate was 420 instead of 520. :eyes:

  21. Anarchist, liberal.. both left of center so they fit in the same pot (what some would call a toilet or bidet also :mask: ).
