1. You can tell when the rage hits Gary. His already atrocious slaying of the English language becomes even MORE pronounced.
2. And if I remember correctly, that last guest post in the screenshot has been edited from what I saw of it last night.
3. Clam chowder for me! Not real big into the bearded clams though.

Hey Gary

At the time Sweetwater didn't have a 00-17SE in Whiskey Sunset in stock. Not to mention that I had a GC coupon for 15% off... which reduced a $1999 (before taxes) guitar to $1839.99 delivered to my door. Same guitar from Sweetwater would have been $1999 ( I have to submit a tax form to Texas for Sales Tax collection myself to be "legal"). And it looks like they still don't have any in. It's a really pretty guitar - no "shiny" to it as it's done more in the style of the old 30's type guitar but it has a REALLY nice tone to it - at least the strings that are still there and now tuned do. Even with replacing the strings myself, I still come out ahead on purchasing it from GC. I probably should have had it delivered to the Tyler store and taken the 2 hour round trip drive over there to pick it up. Would have resolved the "tuning" issue at the store.

Hey Gary

Well shit... the new 00-17SE came in, unboxed it and went to strum it to see how badly out of tune it was. Well, it was bad enough that the E,A,D,B & E were loose as a hell. Now, the G string on the other hand was so tight that when I did the strum it popped. So much for the nice setup that Guitar Center does on their shipped guitars. No wonder they are having financial difficulties. Only good thing was it made me realize I needed to also get some strings in and for now I'm going to continue running Martin strings on the guitars (with some experimentation). I've got 12 sets for each of the Martins (Martin SP and Retro) and 3 sets of D'Addario EJ16's, 3 sets of EJ11's and one set of NB1152's on order. Will try the other strings out to see how their sound compares, but since the local shop mainly carries Elixirs (which generally don't sound as good on Martins) I want to have plenty in stock for a while. And yes Gary I got to spend some more money. Now I may take some of that mad money and have the G.C.Conn coronet that belonged to my wifes dad refinished and mounted in a wall case since I found a photo of him when he was in band. Then again, I may leave it in the condition it is in, which isn't to bad really, you can tell it was actually used by him. Some of the silver plating has worn through in the normal "holding" places. The serial # is in the mid 99xxx which indicates it is actually from the 1907 production period. So when you consider that the thing is 110 years old, it looks pretty damn good.
6. Over here I don't put anyone on ignore. Figure if the fire gets to hot, I'll just leave the stove-top for a few hours and then come back and wade into the oven. :emoji_smiling_imp:

Hey Gary

Not me..... I've been ignoring him pretty much this week. Maybe the lack of attention?
8. Because we, being such trustworthy individuals, issued the challenge first.

Hey Gary

Time for someone else to work on it. Start my guitar lessons day after tomorrow and thinking about going and looking at amps in Tyler. And yes Gary, I may buy one... or I may not. Depends on if the "urge" hits me! :imp:

Hey Gary

I was smart enough to not "join" the site and would post as guest... but always used my real name over there.
12. 13511

Hey Gary

He'll forget his being pwned in a few days and then he will have opened his chat back up. Guest posts are already back, but he's pretty much the only guest he has posting over there. I go read, but don't post any longer as I've gotten tired of my content getting wiped.

14. Not me... I just tried to carry on an adult conversation with him - you know, one similar to an adult talking to a 7 year old.

Hey Gary

Gary, we all are aware of why you wiped your guest messages area and the chat area. It's usually referred to as removing incriminating evidence in a criminal investigation and the same theory applies when trying to remove stuff one does not wish others to see that shows a level of stupidity that exceeds the normal stupid person level. And we know it's hard to answer someone when you typically get pwned so heavily by others using your written answer to show how idiotic said answer is. Feel free to come over here and swap comments.... but we know you will not do that as you don't have the control over whether the messages get wiped because of your attempts to protect yourself from ridicule.

Hey Gary

Oh, and sorry Gary - just noticed another area you had reading retention/comprehension skills in. That account was mine (and was stated as such that I got one to try phpBB out with). Notice the date... almost a month ago now. And as for your previous comments...since you wipe your site more than often it's rather hard to keep up with what you have said since there is no ability to review it. That's why I'll carry on a conversation here with screenshots of your posts so that they are around for a longer period of time. And on a related note (having a site that doesn't get wiped regularly that is) - here is some more reading for you since your memory apparently can't be trusted Hey Gary and Hey Gary <read this one VERY carefully> and Hey Gary

Hey Gary

Gary, pretty sure I commented that I might start a blog (actually already had one and the domain is paid up already on it).. but as for a FORUM I don't plan on doing any of that - nor do I plan on getting a VPS or dedicated server to do it with. But I realize you do have a comprehension issue when it comes to reading the written word. That shared hosting account was already paid for dummy. Care for me to pull the posts back up for you.... since apparently you have issues with doing that. Oh, let's see Hey Gary Hey Gary Hey Gary Hey Gary Hey Gary <pay attention to this one> Hey Gary <and this one> Forgot that the $9.98 is a year long deal. For some reason I was thinking it was a monthly deal.... so might as well put the WordPress site I was already running on the free hosting there. Not really any difference since any shared hosting is not a "hassle" to deal with since it doesn't take much work. And as you can see, I was already talking about the blog... The domain is valid through 2018 so why not use it.

Hey Gary

Oh noes... I went ahead and put my blog onto my prepaid NameCheap hosting account. But look what does work

Hey Gary

All of ours are now on Nutro Ultra weight management food. We've had really good luck with that food and the dogs. We pay a little more, but it helps maintain their health really well.

Hey Gary

More Gary speak. How do you need to get up before you go to bed? Your statement would have made sense if you would have stated I need to got to bed so I can get up to go to work, unlike Tracy Perry, but before I got to bed I'd love to know......... You do have a quaint way of butchering the written word. Do you also talk like that?

Hey Gary

We've got an older black and tan that is not as playful (due to her being older) and then our old man (he's 15) that is a dark red/brown comb (well, he has gray in there now also). Then we have our mixed breed (chihuahua/dachshund) that we adopted (a stray). We call him our otter boy since you his face reminds most people of an otter.

Hey Gary

Gary, here are some photos using that camera we already have (in reference to this post). As you can see, I'll be mowing the yard most likely tomorrow also (and running the string trimmer). Yard is at the point it needs mowing/trimming about every 4-5 days right now.
23. And the truth is beginning to hurt someone. Anyway Gary, tomorrow I'd only have to work if I was still in law enforcement (most likely since I liked to work on the "drunk" holidays as it allowed me to get plenty of DWI's off the road). My work tomorrow will consist of spending time with my family since it's a holiday.
24. The funny thing is the thread that Gary has going with the discussion in it... guess he needs to change the spelling up

Hey Gary

Actually.. she laughs about how long it takes me to decide if I want to buy something now or not. In our younger days I'd grab it immediately. But now I sit and think and research my purchases for a while... and then once I make my mind up to get it I'll get it then. Like I'm debating on which amp to get for the guitars (already decided to get a K&K pure mini passive pickup for the OM-28). The other two guitars already have built in electronics, but I did not want something battery powered for the OM-28 and from my research the K&K's are probably some of the best passive out. The Trance Amulet M Phantom looked good, but it does have some issues that the K&K do not have. I'm leaning towards a Fishman Loudbox Performer for the amp - but it's not something I need right now so I'll wait. I'm still researching tube vs solid state so if I decide on tube that will knock the Fishman out.
