1. I got my anti-5G shot the other day. The next 4999 are scheduled every 1/2 day until done.
2. Didn't tag you... simply replied to a post that you replied to me on when you asked
3. I don't agree with the government forcing it on the public, but have absolutely no issues with an employer doing it. Working is not a "right". If one does not like the rules of their employer they are free to leave and pursue employment elsewhere, just like they always have been. And yes, that even applies if you are a Federal employee. You can either comply with their rules or you can go find another job or start your own business. Same way for businesses requiring customers to be vaccinated. If you don't like that business requirement then don't go there. I laughed when I saw where a bar refused to serve a couple that wore masks in. They complained about it, but it was that business owners right to do so the same as it is the right of other businesses to require vaccination or masks or both. Last time I checked, they weren't posting people at the borders of towns, counties or states to verify that you were wearing a mask when driving in/out nor requiring you to show your vaccination card. And pretty sure that even the TSA isn't requiring flyers to be vaccinated.
4. What it does change is the reduced incidence of hospitalization and/or death.
5. I get similar when I get the flu shot as do many others. So, proves absolutely nothing. An "adverse reaction" can be something as simple as having some pain at the injection site.
6. You do realize that ALL vaccines had a starting point and they didn't have a long history of use behind them, correct? They just don't pop into being with 50 years of use history.
7. If it was really Gary's site it probably would be.
8. The anti-vaccine trope is strong with the anonymous troglodyte. Unvaccinated people are about 29 times more likely to be hospitalized with Covid-19 than those who are fully vaccinated, according to a CDC study released Tuesday. The new study also found that unvaccinated people were nearly five times more likely to be infected with Covid than vaccinated people. The data is in line with comments from federal and state health officials, who have been saying for weeks that millions of unvaccinated Americans have been putting themselves at serious risk. And I like my magenta forked tail, platinum horns and golden combover just fine, thank you very much.
9. Already have lost 3 friends to it. In our little burg we are having an abnormally high rate of deaths lately. One of our local LEO's family is even trying to find ECMO treatment for him as it's the only thing that is likely to keep him alive.
10. Some info I saw revealed that .00008% of those vaccinated have died. Now, compare that to the number of unvaccinated.
11. You are less likely to have a positive test than unvaccinated. There are breakthrough occurrences, but they are way lower than the positivity results of the unvaccinated being exposed under the same conditions. There is a reason that the majority of those hospitalized in the U.S. (both regular rooms and ICU) currently with Covid-19 are the masses of the unvaccinated and not the vaccinated.
12. Nothing better than the oldies.
13. Old school.. for the 200o's
14. Yes, I'm and old fart...but even at 3 years old I still like this song. The beat rocks.
15. Nope, 1975 Chevy Camaro LT Sports Coupe. Bought it from my oldest brother and had body work fixed and repainted to Chrysler charcoal gray. Put a small cam in it, changed the 2 barrel carb to a Holley 650 CF Double Pumper, put duals on it and it wore Cragar SS rims with 60's on back and 70's on front. Somewhere I've got a picture of it in a box, but it was similar to this one other than the tires/rims (it was originally the same icky color). Once I graduated high school (1982) and started a full time job I bought a '82 Ford F100 Step-side from our local Ford dealer and sold the Camaro to my youngest brother for what they wanted to give me for trade-in on it. Figured I'd rather it go to him since he was tooling around in an old 1971 Chevy short bed truck.
16. I'd lean towards the JiC. Jackass in Charge.
17. Just saw that. Hated that he passed. Was a fun entertainer to watch.
18. Yeah, he doesn't even now how the Texicans actually ended up kicking Santy Anna's ass and finding him trying to hide out as an enlisted man to sneak back to Mexico. As for the Alamo, 100 (and re-enforced by less than 100 more) Texans held out against 1500 Mexicans for 13 days. Sounds like they did pretty good to me considering they were outnumbered as badly as they were. But let's talk about how the Texans ran all the Mexican army out of Texas prior to that - and then kicked their asses at the Battle of San Jacinto.
19. Don't you mean a 5 year old picture. Strikes me as more something a 5 year old would be photographed doing/at.
20. It's a learned skill. Just have to know what buttons to push, and anything dealing with purchasing something he can't afford is a big button that sets him off almost every time.... and his memory is piss poor - that was my son and one of his friends riding the trikes with the LED lights on them. Guess he's never heard of the phrase "more is better", especially when dealing with lighting on road bikes/trikes. We got rid of the trikes because we wanted to do mountain bike riding so purchased 2 Trek bicycles. As for "police wannabe" - well, I did that for 14 1/2 years, so no need to "wannabe" was I was a wasabe. Guitars are still here, and we got a 27'11" Winnebago that replaced the little motorcycle trailer - which looked dinky behind the 2019 Toyota Tundra (second one since a tree fell on the first one, taking it and our other trailer out). Gary, here is a photo just for you of the truck and trailer on the way back home from picking the trailer up - Must really chap his ass that some folks can be retired and pull in almost 100K a year (for Gary, that's roughly 80,214 GBP).
