1. Was just a matter of time. Trump's "free speech for all" Truth Social... now banning accounts that say anything but positive about Trump and January 6 and the recent hearing that was broadcast.
2. Yep... will always place the needs of my family and myself in front of others. Do you deny that you do the same? Why should I place the needs of some lazy-ass that refuses to work over my family? Whether they (or you) want to admit it, there ARE jobs out there.... do they pay what they person thinks they are worth? Rarely... but rarely is the person actually worth what they think they are either. Legitimate question... do you sport a man bun? Just wondering, because many that do have a belief in their superiority over others.
3. Really? How many of those "gun deaths" were by the hands of other parties (you should be able to answer that, as I GAVE you the answer already)... you see, a suicidal individual will use other means if they can't get a gun... and even though you may try to deny it, studies show otherwise. If one is intent on committing suicide, one will use whatever means are at hand. Now, vehicles killed 42,915 in 2021. By your arguments, we should ban vehicles also if you are going to push to do so based simply upon number of deaths associated with an object. Novel idea... how about prohibiting those that are at highest risk of suicide from having firearms... you know, non-Hispanic American Indian/Alaska Native and non-Hispanic White populations, young people who identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual, veterans, those that work in mining or construction... you see, the federal government says they are ALL at higher risk of suicide than a heterosexual white male or female. So you wouldn't have any issues in prohibiting those in that "susceptible group" from owning a firearm, all in the understanding "it's for their own good"? And hate to burst your utopian bubble that you live in... but Now, explain to us why there were a WHOLE 3 "mass shooting incidents" in 2000, but in 2020 it increased to 40? Do you posit that suddenly the gun manufacturers were making "more vicious" guns? That they were making "more guns"? Or could the REAL fact be that the actual PEOPLE have changed... and much of that "change" was for the worse as we became more "liberal" and "open" in the raising of children and the lack of holding them to any responsibility or accountability? You know, the very same people that get offended because in sports some kids are rewarded for their excellence, but not everyone... so then you had to start giving "participation awards", instead of teaching the kids that some people excel at certain things and others don't... and to try and find something that you excel at.
4. And what surprises you... I guess you are into "punishing" people for opinions/positions that you don't agree with? Sounds rather childish to me, but I've found that most liberals trend that way. Meanwhile, we adults will continue onward with our choice to allow folks to believe what they want and it not impact our life. Got yourself a man bun?
5. Yep... this statement simply reinforces the point that until they can do something to control the problem (which is not the object, but the lack of doing anything about those "evil people") then you will continue to have a problem. Let's see.... in 2020, 3% (408) of the murders (13,620 total for the year) that occurred were with those "evil assault weapons". Meanwhile, there were 11,654 people killed in DWI related accidents in 2020, 10,142 in 2019. Guess we also need to work on banning alcohol and vehicles from private ownership. Oh, we also need to ban cell phones... you see, it's estimated that 400 people a year die from them being used in automobiles. Shit, we need to ban ladders also, on average 300 people die a year from falls from them (not to mention the 500K+ treated injuries). *stats per the CDC Oh lord, we better ban bicycles... on average 100 children are killed a year on them.
6. Here, Paul, since you like to post "songs"...
7. If it's a product I need/want, sure. I don't let their politics determine whether I purchase something from someone, I let my need decide that. In fact, you can't get much stronger than "gun control" than China (actually Hong Kong, but same type restrictions on firearms)... and yet I'll still buy Milwaukee tools (although I do prefer my DeWalt tools). I'll still go into Starbucks and grab a coffee if I'm not in my home town (prefer Coffee & Cream, their breve is fantastic). I still have my Citibank accounts. I still use PayPal. I sill shop at Krogers, Albertsons, Walgreens and CVS and grab a bite at Sonic every now and then. I still get Wired magazine. I still watch movies associated with Bad Robot. Now, I won't support someone like Impossible Foods... but that's simply because I want my burger to be beef/bison at the least. And no, don't use (and won't use) Uber, for other reasons than their position on gun control. I don't (and haven't in over 40 years) worn Levi's, and have no plans to. Wrangler Rugged Wear work better for my lifestyle.
8. And here you only support the point I was making... doesn't matter if it "happened in the 20th century. The fact is that it DID happen after our founding. The simple fact is that the right that was valid then is STILL valid. Sorry that you may be willing to give up your rights, but many are not. They recognize the reasoning of the 2nd amendment, and it had nothing to do with hunting. It had to do with guaranteeing the people an alternative method of redress if their government got out of hand and the people needed to take it back forcibly (I realize that one word scares you). In fact, you seem oblivious to the events surrounding 01/06/2021 when a certain politico was doing his best to usurp our very democracy. THAT type of behavior is what the second is actually designed to allow some protections against. And the simple fact remains, the MAJORITY of the military will support citizens rights, not march to the "government drummer" just because they are told to. They are not, and never have been automatons, which is something the liberal left likes to imply.
9. Which does more good... doing a "feel good" song and/or empty platitudes? Or shipping them actual armament (guns/missiles/bombs) to protect themself against aggression? Think sitting in a circle singing "Kumbaya" is going to prevent their attackers from invading/attacking/raping their peoples? How many people do you actually think will be "not buying anything made by Nestle"? Most people pay ZERO attention to "protest songs" now days, and if they do pay any attention to them, it's only for a VERY short time until they need something that the protested party provides... then they "conveniently" forget their protest. We've seen it time and time again in modern society. As for the supposition that the 2nd Amendment was only good for "the old days in the revolution" that many of your ilk try to make and that afterwards that there was no need to "defend against the government excesses/violence" or overall oppression, I'll leave you with a few names. Bear River Massacre Sand Creek Marias Massacre Wounded Knee "Battle" of Bad Axe Red Fork of the Colorado River Kern & Sutter Massacres "Battle" of Fort Utah Bloody Island Massacre Bridge Gulch Massacre Skeleton Cave Massacre Sappa Creek Massacre Buffalo Gap Massacre
10. And just a classic example of the "intelligence" of your average grun grabber.

12. All you have to do is research the historical data provided in LENGTHY research into those shooters. Amazingly they tend to show many of the same tendencies... tendencies that parents choose to overlook because it's apparently too much trouble to get very involved in your child's life as it may "upset" them. Almost ALL of the school shooting suspects shared threatening posts/messages/images. Four out of five school shootings, at least one other person was aware of the attackers plans but failed to report it. Some interesting reading for you, letting you obtain some actual FACTS and not your "feelerz"... https://www.secretservice.gov/sites/default/files/reports/2020-09/MAPS2019.pdf In addition, here is another for you to review. https://schoolshooters.info/sites/default/files/rampage_school_shooters_typology_1.1.pdf
13. Well, considering that you want to punish the other 99+ percent of society because of the actions of a few, I'd have no issues with that. Maybe it would result in parents actually raising their children instead of simply birthing them.
14. Hey, here's a great idea @Paul.... how about getting government to concentrate on the guns that are ALREADY ILLEGAL. Think that maybe a mandatory 15 years flat in the pen for anyone using guns in the commission of a crime would maybe reduce the use them?
15. And remember, this is 8 years old.
16. Here ya' go @Paul, in your appropriate thread.
17. Hey @Paul... you have your own thread to have way with your input.. once more, are you unable to follow along with what a thread is about? Here, let me help guide you to your own thread to "do you" in. I realize that you have great difficulty with your pea brain being able to follow along with more than one thought process at a time. Please continue in your "special" thread and I'll be more than happy to engage with you... But please, come armed with facts and not your "feelerz".
