GTB aka Gary, Gary Thomas Bolton seems to have disappeared into the abyss. I was checking out my friend Shawns https://vbadmins.com site and noticed a user calling themselves Gaz. At one time Gary would use that name to try and be anonymous. He was found out fairly fast because he couldn't grasp the fact that he should use a VPN so no one could match his IP. In any case. Some of his posts show some GTB'isms in them. Maybe it's him, maybe it's not. What you think?

It looks like Paul B got in the act of using backhand comments to bash the haters. A group I am fond to be a part of. I didn't use to be. Clearly developing XF is on another level of complexity, time and effort, even with today's modern development environments which I didn't have, so that should be kept in mind when criticising the devs for apparent "slow progress". Finally, what I find interesting is that despite PCs being a lot more advanced 30 years later, modern PCs work in exactly the same way as they did back then, even across platforms / architectures, not just the x86 world. I didn't want to close any of the sites I manage. I kept them open until I started to go through intensive therapy. At that time I honestly didn't think I would be around much longer. I got through it and came back about as good as I was before I was struck down by a stroke. I have some lingering effects. Nothing that would keep me from maintaining my websites. In fact the speech therapist says it would be good to exercise my mind. My speech was affected and forming sentences is much easier when writing then it is spoken. In any case BASH.zone is back!
